Sinbad Passport is categorized under Identity-as-a-Service(IDaaS). • As enterprises continue to embrace the cloud and mobile technology, their identity and access management systems are becoming more complex. IDaaS can help reduce the burden. • New identity security regulations, such as the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), are contributing to the rise of IDaaS. • The overall Identity and Access Management (IAM) market is expected to reach USD 23 billion by 2025. IDaaS offerings are essentially subscription software-based identity and access management systems that are built and managed by a third party. Funding to IDaaS startups is on the rise. For example, Auth0 obtained a USD 103 million Series E round in May 2019 and achieved unicorn status with a valuation of USD 1 billion. In January, OneLogin raised a USD 100 million Series D round. A robust Data Auditing System will be the first step involved in reaching Sinbad customers. Step 1: Data Auditing Building a Sinbad customer base will be based on three set of data: First-Party Data, Second-Party Data, and Third-Party Data. In the early stages of launch, Sinbad will not have access to first-party data and will rely mainly on second-party data from strategic partners. Sinbad social channels will share their first-party data, via the social relationship management platform, with the Data Management Platform (DMP). The second-party data will be uploaded to the Data Management Platform (DMP). Prior to the first-party and second-party data being uploaded to the Data Management Platform (DMP), Sinbad will perform an internal data audit based on business goals like website optimization, audience segmentation or search engine optimization. Sinbad will take a comprehensive approach by auditing all internal sources, including Sinbad’s website, mobile site and applications, CRM, Email system, marketing automation platform, and social media channels. Reaching Sinbad customers will involve 2 additional steps - Identities Mapping, and Segmentation. Step 2: Identities Mapping. Identity mapping is a real competitive advantage that will help Sinbad marketers build up the insights for meaningful, one-on-one customer communication. With an identity map or ID graph, Sinbad can bridge identifiers across desktop, mobile, offline sources, and in-store interactions to increase the odds that Sinbad is reaching the right person. The more Sinbad understands that, the more likely we are to create long-term relationships across the ever-expanding number of channels, platforms and IoT-connected devices.
