The target market is students of all educational backgrounds beginning from middle school up to and including university. Odysy will target these students in the GCC region comprising U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and the south Asian region comprising India and Bangladesh. Rough estimates for the size of this market are about 5-10 million students out of which 1.2 million have been verified by reliable educational entities. We have connected to approximately 150 students in these markets as of now and over 15 educators from UAE and India, and identified the problem as a customer pain point and have validated the impact of our approach. We are currently reaching out to more students, schools and universities to initiate pilot and beta testing with our MVP. The plan for the first five years of Odysy take into account only 150,000 students which is 2% of the target market. The projections take realistic approaches and are grossly underestimated. However, the product will be hosted online and available on the App stores for Android and Apple and can be used or downloaded from anywhere in the world. If marketing reaches countries outside the target market in the first 5 years, we can expect students from outside the target market in an optimistic scenario. Even though the core Odysy platform is meant for students, the efficient way of reaching more students in a short time is by partnering with educational institutions of all sizes and backgrounds. By making schools and universities buy packages instead of students, we offer them reliable career counseling for their students which has appeared to be a problem for many institutions as concluded from initial meetings and surveys. In addition to this, they can also buy an additional dashboard with many institutional level usages such as student metrics, counselling insights, course recommendations and research suggestions.
