Description

G1 ONLINE: The region’s number one online destination for affordable art. We regularly deliver across the globe!
www.g-1.com

First launched in 2012, and there was a complete overhaul in July 2016. Serving over 1,500 users per day from over 70 different countries we are now starting to see treble-digit growth due to renewed focus on digital marketing and an adjustment to our product prices. We regularly deliver as far afield as China in the East, and the USA in the West. We embrace every logistical challenge and deliver to the most remote locations from time-to-time….as our customers in Trinidad and Tobago will attest!
Using email campaigns, social media, and sales/promotional campaigns, we grew our sales significantly year-after-year.

We are unique because:

  1. We own the end2end customer journey in-house (designs, production, fulfilment, retail management).

  2. We have an established brand since 2006.

  3. We have been trading online and fulfilling orders worldwide since 2012.

  4. We are the most recognizable brand name in this sector in the GCC.

  5. We design and produce culturally-relevant and regionally-relevant art.

  6. We have lower overheads than any of our competitors due to internal synergies and cost-sharing.

  7. G1 Online is debt-free.

  8. G1 Online is already profitable.

  9. G1 Online is perfectly positioned to enter the NFT phenomenon! We have over 1,500 exclusive digital artworks with more to come. We provide the full provenance journey with certificates of authenticity and artist signatures. This is a huge revenue potential (is not included in the IM) as this is the future of fine art collecting at crazy prices!

Why Invest Now in General?
Over the last 12 months online shopping has overtaken high-street retail for the first time ever. Previously, the GCC e-commerce sector was a small channel with a big future ahead of it, but Covid-19 provided an unforeseen push, with an even larger acceleration in online retail between 2021 and 2023 expected by experts.

Why Invest Now in G1 Online specifically?

  1. We have the door opened to Saudi Arabia.

  2. We are about to establish a physical presence in Qatar.

  3. We already dominate the UAE.

  4. We have our costs at an all-time low.

  5. We have 185,000 cubic feet of warehouse space ready and paid for.

  6. With over 2 billion globally, the world’s Muslim population is more widespread than you might think. Our artwork and merchandise focuses on regionally and culturally relevant designs. 70% of our product portfolio has a direct connection with the Islamic faith. As Islam spreads, so too does our market. We are the only designers and suppliers of contemporary, modern, on-trend and fashionable art that is relevant to this population around the world.

Competitive Advantage

G1 Online will dominate the MENA region and have global reach. The Middle East will remain the strongest market for the next 3 years with the least competition. We will enter Qatar and Saudi with a physical presence on the ground during Q4 2021. Online art sales across the globe accounted for USD 4.8bn in 2019, so scale exists to grow market share over the next 5 years. Gallery One never focused on marketing its presence and actively seeking out new markets in the past. The focus was always on traditional high-street retail. A Key Market in Year 1: Saudi Arabia. Adding a major focus on becoming the market leader in Saudi (that market alone will generate 60% of the forecasted sales from the GCC region) will provide us with 50% share of the GCC market. In 2017 Gallery One was granted a license to design and supply 50 official gift & souvenir items for EXPO 2020 and this enabled us to win a contract with Saudi Aramco to design and supply merchandise for their pavilion store, as well as develop and manage the pavilion ecommerce store. As a result, the door is now open at the highest levels for us to enter the Saudi market. As mentioned previously, it is extremely hard to find artwork and merchandise (wall art, small art, or giftables) outside of Arabia that are relevant to the Arab region, culture and spiritual customs. In the USA, Europe, Australasia for example, you will not simply walk down the high street or into a shopping mall and find these designs and products at this level of quality and price. But G1 Online can remove that problem and deliver direct to doorsteps. To acquire more customers we need to spend significantly on marketing. The only thing we really lack is marketing. The products are great, the brand is famous....but people need to be aware of our ecommerce store.
