It’s a huge market. We’re targeting any service provider such as banks, hotels, car rentals, insurance providers, telecom providers, cashiers, receptionists, etc. Let’s plug in some numbers. 80,000 banks in the US alone that on average have 4 tellers; 53,000 hotels each requiring a couple of terminals per location. 80,000*4 + 53,000*4 = 532,000 possible locations to deploy terminals (willingness to pay around 60 USD per terminal). Europe has similar numbers of hotels and banks. In dollar terms, this amount translates to 532,000*60*12 = 383,040,000 USD in the US alone; Add to it Europe and we’re close to a billion per year. In the US alone the problem of underperforming employees is valued at 44 billion per year. In Europe, the cost is estimated at 617 billion Euros. If asked, these companies would gladly pay 10% of the cost to fix the problem (roughly 70 billion USD per year, all conversions included). We charge a monthly subscription of 60 USD for all 3 of the terminal, the data interpretation, and the gamified learning platform. In comparison, companies today pay 100 USD/employee/month for training alone and spend much more on data collection. Happy or Not is one of our competitors who is currently present in 3000 businesses worldwide and charges 69 Euros/month/terminal for half the value proposition we offer. We’re not reinventing the wheel, we are taking their already successful system to the next level. How will we be acquiring customers? Two of the founders of the company have worked in consultancy. Georgy worked in the US, Canada and Spain for big names in the industry including the government of Canada. It’s from his experience in the field that BA was identified as a need in the market. Johnny has worked with Deloitte in France and Luxembourg; he also has many contacts in the area that we can take advantage of. During a meetup in Madrid, we conducted our survey: 100% of businesses we surveyed said they would be interested in such a solution (sample of 60 restaurants). Georgy’s previous company is still in operation and talks have been going to launch the first project with one of his previous clients. We at BA would come as an add-on to what consulting companies offer. How is that possible? At our side, we collect the data on their behalf and help in soft skill training. On their side, the consulting firms will use our data to lead other types of projects such as changes in the process, IT, layout changes, and other services that lie outside the scope of Binary Analytics.
